Subhash Ghai siding towards Himani

I don't understand how can Subhash Ghai leave out Nihira the great singer, who should have stood first in this competetion. Looks like lot of favorites play going on....
I always think Nihira is No. 1 always, and no doubt Himani comes next. But still it was not right on Subhash Ghai not to acknowledge Nihira's talent 😡

Both can and hopefully both Himani n Nihira will survive in the music industry. Praising one doesnt make the other bad.

Who cares for Subhash ghai's choice? Is he a god? forget him. Afterall he is also humanbeing like us so he will have his own choice and he is not something special that he had to choose nihira. So forget him. So what if he called Himani.

Yes, this is the same Subash Ghai who made the pathetic movie Taal. Nihira shouldn't care too much for his opinion.

The list of people who have appreciated Himani and whose opinions you have to ignore is getting longer and longer...

They are worlds apart in their singing styles and genre.

Apreciating one of them has NO REFLECTION on the other!!!

It so happens that they both were part of this Challenge 2005 contest... that's where the similarity starts and ends !!!! They may never cross paths again, so just let them be...

Who the heck is Subhash Ghai other than being the Original NRI Basher....if we believed his movies then all our indian kids raised outside of India are all rapist jerks lacking all family values...thanks to Pardes....continued in Taal... ending with Ghai's Magnum Opus Yaadeeh. Thank you Kareena and Hritik for distancing yourselves from this pathetic expose of Indian Kids born and raised outside India. I salute you for your baagawat against Ghai the Great...Maybe if the three renegades of saregamapa had some maturity they would have seen reason and rationality before venturing onto their doomed experiment. Bloody puppets! Do you think Ghai understands all this. All he sees is some kid to exploit..it does not matter whether from East or West!!!

A agree with you...i just don't understand why do people always compare himania n nihira....when both have the different composition and different tune of singing...Even ID had once said that himani has a good voice but can sing only of reshma's kind of songs...This is not a bad comment infact....reshma is one of the greatest singer of pakistan....And if himani has some heavy kind of voice then it's of the texture of soil from where she belongs i.e. Haryana.And she is not the unique of her kind...many others like begum akthar,abida parveen,jasbinder nirula,reshma have the same kind of voice and they all belongs to punjab and sind prant....And we should remember that melody is the soul of songs not the voice....

so friend don't compare them...give them space to blossom in their own space and we s'd pray that in return we get the melody of songs...

There seems to be a lot of bias against Himani and in favour of Nihira on this forum.

Forum members should wake up to the realties . Himani was praised not only by mentors but outside judges as well.

For all information she scored well above Nihira in Finals ( Perfect 10 as well as public votes)

She is the only finalist who has been signed by

As much as I recollect Nihira is yet to record a song in the films and also none of the mentors have as yet signed her for any song . Correct me if it is wrong.

She is also a very good singer but unfortunately will have to compete with the likes of Shreya / Mahalxmi/ Alka and many other good singers.

Himani on the other hand will have much more scope as she is in sunidhi mould and can sing the young pop songs as yu see in 80% of songs these days very well.

Subhash Ghai needs much more respect on this thread as he is the showman next only to late Raj Kapoor.If yu dont know the person pls try to find something and then write nasty or bad about such a respected bollywood director.

Anyway best of luck to Nihira and Himani both as i feel they were the best amogst all finalists.
