A source said, "Preity and Salman have been good friends for a long time. The two have acted in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha, Jaan-e-Man and Heroes. Preity shares a great rapport with Salman. And he's stood by her whenever she needed him.
So when they approached Preity to do a brief appearance in Main Aur Mrs Khanna, she agreed instantly." In fact, according to the source, she even let money matters take a back seat. "She was just happy being a part of the film," he said
