Disclamer: I am aware of forum rules and by no means am I making this comment personal towards the actor. Just something i've noticed
Ok so I think that Manav's dukhiyara look, with the grown beard and mustache and hair combed back, is making him look like a warrior from the Shivaji era. This can be especially seen when the promo ends and its archana looking one way and manav the other with Pavitra rishta written in between.
I'm pretty sure creatives are trying to show that he is depressed but it ain't working. Although if his warrior look is to make him look like he's gonna do something about his situation then more power to the creatives. 😉
