How Public was Influenced by Mentors?

Through the challenge 2005 mentors have determined to influence the public and mold them without letting them decide themselves. The best input given to the public was by Neutral Judges.

First of all when Challenge 2005 started with first round of elemination all Mentors have formed their own Number one candidates. They set their egos and changed them as things went different way.

Female Singers: ID started very strongly with Nihira and drummed up as No1 Singer. No doubt very very good singer but if you can determine that she is the best of all why do you continue with show and why not finish it in the early stages. Infact too much praising of Nihira in the early stages also led to loss of confidence by other female singers. Then half way through they found two more Ujjaini and Himani. I do not know suddenly mentors started promoting Himani and Ujjaini as No 1 (basically they were moulding public without their knowledge). Especially ID went two steps more for Himinai. No doubt praising opposite candidate is sportive but that also generates discomfort to their own gharana people. This led to Nihira's loss of confidence and she did not perform well after half-way through. Ujjaini lost but came back in public voting but HR accepted because of Jatin/Lalit but made up his mind to push her off. This he achieved it by neglecting and not giving support to her in full public view (that was nasty). HR has ego set on Vineet and no matter who sings well. Nihira was over shadowed by Himani. Himani is good singer but public was never allowed to judge on their own and always over influenced by Mentors (remember I am not saying the neutral judges who always made reasonable comments)

Male Singers: From the begining Hemu was singing tremendous just like Nihira but no one cared. Luckily it is the neutral judges who were calling shots and hence he was just went through all rounds with no problem. At the same time HR was complaining about Aiswarya as if he found greatest diamond in the world. Basically HR wept in every show about Aiswaray's exit as if injustice (may be. I am not able to judge on that). He never botherd that much about Vineet. During that time ID was behind Balaji and never cared Debo (who was singing much better than now). Exactly at that time AS was behind Rajeev like a hell. Hemu was completely neglected inspite of his talent. With time slowily Aiswarya, Balaji gone (Infact Balaji's loss was very big for ID at that time), ID has to drum up Nihira and Debo (but that was too late for Nihira) and HR has to drump up Vineet (he pledged in one show he will make him star and here goes ego). Nihira lost because of Public voting which was molded to Himani. Debo realised that he has no support of ID and hence he went after his home region votes and that was trick and worked.

There are only two people in this entire challenge 2005 who came up on their own:

1. Hemu because of his talent and overall public support

2. Debo more because of public support from his region and secondly talent (lesser than Hemu)

The biggest loss of Challenge 2005 Shaorib (male) and Nihira (Female)

The best fight would have been between Hemu/Shaorib and Nihira/Himani

You do make some salient points there...

I just don't remember a Balaji in ID's team. Who was that???? Were you thinking of Niladri per chance???

HERE JATINJI WAS NEUTRAL WHEREAS AS & HR HAD THIER CHARANA CANDIDATES STILL IN THE CHALLENGE.

Do not mislead the public by writing long post, which is completely illogical. If you think praising Himani by ID lower down Nihira's confidence then it wrong. Actually Nihira has given her best performance after that.

You are correct. It was Niladri. Sorry about that.
