The original book on which the show is based on,says that when DM-S just enter marital bliss,Khemi comes and entrusts her child with them.Something along that line.

How much of this will come true,no clue.

Santu should open a orphanage and rehabilitation centre, called the Santu Mata Kendra.

No Arjan is not mentally challenged or anything, not even like Anil Kapoor in Eeshwar, he is just naive and simple like a lot of village folks are. Khemi married him because she couldn't go back to Dharampur and to save Santu's marriage. There isn't going to be an annulment, even if Arjan was mentally challenged which he is not, she knew this full well before she married him, so she can't conveniently dump him when she does not need him anymore. I think the show is inspired by the book, not completely based on it. In that I think it was a cousin and not a sister, and she runs away, ends up badly and then turns up with a kid which she entrusts Santu, don't think the sister got married or anything.....think the book had a sad ending, hopefully the show won't.

The show wont have a sad ending,especially with RR around. 😉
