Yash Tonk thrilled with Main Aurr Mrs Khanna
Yash Tonk of Karam Apnaa Apnaa fame is on cloud nine these days as he is working with the Khan brothers in Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. The actor is playing Sohail Khan's best friend in the film.
Yash Tonk of Karam Apnaa Apnaa fame is on cloud nine these days as he is working with the Khan brothers in Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. The actor is playing Sohail Khan's best friend in the film.
We spoke to his wife Gauri, as Yash is in Pataya shooting for his next film. "He has a really good role in Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. He plays Sohail Khan's best friend and is also a parallel lead in the film. Both Sohail and Salman Khan had personally approached him for this role and felt that he would do justice to his character," she says.
This is not the first time that Yash has worked with Sohail and Salman. He had earlier worked with Sohail in Fight Club and Team The Force; he was also offered a role in God Tussi Great Ho but had to back out the film due to his TV assignments. Gauri adds, "Whenever they feel that the character suits him, they call him. We are family friends."
We asked Gauri about Yash's item number with Preity Zinta. "He looks so different in the song and I think it's the most happening song in the town right now," she says. "We have got good feedback from our family friends and I am sure audiences will be happy to see him in this new avatar."
The actor will be back in India in a week's time.
