Hey Guys,

For those uninitiated.....I just wanna share with you all that the original Malayalam film - Manichitra Tazhu....which was remade in Hindi by Priyadarshan.......as Bhool Bhulaiya...!

The original actress Shobana won a National Award for hr portrayal in this film !!

I want you to check out the song.....the one which in the Hindi version is "Mere Dholna"

In the original Malayalam film....Shobana is shown to be a Malayalee (Keralite) who gets possessed by a Ghost who is Tamilian....😆....So the song is in Tamil !! Like in the Hindi version the song has traces of Bengali in it !!

I have seen it thousand times...

yes shobana was great...no too doubts on that...

i have also seen RARA FROM chandramukhi played by jyothika...that was also a classic

abt Bhool Bhulaiya Weell that's your thinking....It was a highly acclaimed movie of priyandarshan till date....by the critics and aam junta...vidya balan was nominated for best actress for many awards...this shows enuff

Oh.... Dont remind me about Shobana and Manichitratazha.., it was a classic movie. None of the remakes come close to it whatever be the awards they gathered.

i have seen both the versions...i really loved both of themm....

mere dholna is a very touching song...very well composed and i think vidya acted amazingly in that...and she got the biggest of her best from this movie... well now the people who don't like her will defintely spend their time by making comparisons and criticizing her. so its not surprising at all.

Vidya is not even mentioned....The FILM is mentioned.......! On the whole !!

No one hates Vidya here.....No one said she cant act !!

Its not as if we are sitting here to sabotage her career !!

This post, was as mentioned for the "Uninitiated"....to let them know that this was the original song...! M not into finding stuff in order to bash actors.....If I had to , then there are other actors whom I hate that I wud be bashing....and Vidya just aint on my hate list of actors !!

Dont mix up two posts.....That post was different and this one is different.....This thing just came out in that thread....so i thought maybe there are other ppl who have not seen the original dance....so I shud post it !!

Saying the same thing with different ID's doesnt work !

Also....Even if I was comparing....I dont think its criminal...!

When you work in a remake ....its a given that there will be comparisons....M sure being a Malayalee herself....Vidya knew only too well that parallels would be drawn between her and Shobana....

It is childish to think that the comparisons are aimed at pulling down one actor.....

Didnt people compare Ash's performance in Umrao Jaan with Rekha's original portrayal.....Ash fans didnt say that "Oh , everyone is pulling down Ash and plotting against her by comparing her with Rekha"....It was given that there will be comparisons and some people will prefer one over the other...!

People should have it in them to take things in the right sense,instead of jumping and saying...."oh its not surprising...ppl who dont like Vidya will say bad about her" even when her name isnt even mentioned....as if others have no work !!

It is Surprising....very surprising.....Coz even i didnt know that I hated Vidya !! Lol !!

what even then i didn't write what u wrote..i commented on this topic when it was not edited, but then my net got a low down and when i came back i posted my comment...after few mins i realized the topic was edited...

surprisingly the lady is getting angry over it😆...anyways i will stick to my opinion...coz i saw the original one.
