This was definitely a good FUNNY movie!
It wasn't slapstick funny, but situationally funny...and the dialogues of all 3 heros were AWESOME!
I watched both Kaminey and Life Partner and I'm glad that with having not much expectations , Life Partner has held it's own!
Great movie!

Life Partner was just plain dumb. Was it really supposed to be a comedy because it has no laughs. I said this in another thread when I was half way through the movie, but it holds true at the end as well. Fardeen Khan cannot act to save his life. Genelia seemed to be channeling Kareena from her Main Prem Ki... days. Govinda does not deliver a single line in a lower decible range (and I hate to say it, but the idea that he gets all these beautiful women to fall for him is preposterous). Tusshar Kapoor usually suits loser roles, but I guess the brief given to all these actors was to shout their lines because in a role tailor-made for him he hams like never before.

Prachi was a respite in certain scenes but her character made no sense whatsoever. But I guess this is supposed to be mindless comedy of the family variety, so such mundane things as character development is not necessary. What would be required is the comedy. The dialogues were so stupid and unfunny that I was hoping for slapstick.

Reading your first review srklover I found one thing I agree with. Tusshar's character - what was he - a sexually repressed nerd? was he obsessed with getting married or doing it - I am not sure which one or why. In scenes where I guess he is supposed to be falling for Prachi he looked like a perv (and it wasn't just because of the moustache).

And talk about stereotypes, the spoilt brat who can't lift a finger, the wimpy son, and the casanova waiting to be reformed.

Can someone explain to me why Fardeen gets that promotion, when throughout the first half of the film he is seen running after Genelia and not working at all. But in the second half he suddenly turns into some workohlic. Its painful just to recount the utter stupidity of this film.

This movie was really funni.....their dialogues and situations lol
I looooved genelia in the movie.....she was so funni!
Prachi's character was nice & she did complete justice to it......onli thing was i was waitin 4 her entry too long
Govinda is sooo funni as the lawyer who tries to do divorce to everyone LMAO.....i was laughin when the buzurg couple came to him for their son's divorce problem and he ended up getting them divorced.....Definately a gud performance
Tushar and Fardeen suited their roles to the T.......overall this movie was really nice :).

Loved this movie!
It was hilarious
Songs and dialogues were great too
Lol my favourite would be "oil can" or "Gujarati Hitler"
Genelia was perfect as the dumb rich girl
And Prachi, the main reason for watching, was awesome, she really fulfilled her character and her dancing was amazing, would have been nice if she had more to do
Tusshar, Govinda and Fardeen were funny too
Overall an entertaining family movie
