The newly tagged superstar of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor has arrived with the resounding success of Kaminey. But the cherry on the cake is that this is his 4 consecutive hit in the last 2 years, making him one of the most bankable stars in the current times. With an unbeatable track record of 2 super hits, 1 average hit and now a blockbuster hit, the actor who not too long ago spoke about how much he admired his seniors is now being hailed as one of them, and this at the age of just 28!

Just before Kaminey's release, I posted an article that said that Shahid will break into Top 5 if Kaminey is a success. And, that day has come!🥳

Dhan tannaa....he is the youngest superstar of Bollywood now! I'm so proud! I never realized this, but Kaminey is actually Shahid's 4 success in a row. KiKo made good money too, even though it did above average business.

Ah, I'm happy! Cant wait till CPD and Pankaj's next😛

He has the charm, charismaand likeability that SRK has, the acting talent of Aamir Khan, and the dancing talent of Hrithik Roshan.

True that, even though I would want him to make his own mark. I do agree with you, he is a combo of them all. What surprises me the most is the age factor, all the A list actors took years to make it to the top! Like I wonder what kind of movies SRK and Aamir were doing in their late 20s. Here Shahid has cracked into Top 5 at 28! OMG! *knocks on wood*

Shahid is constantly under the media spotlight, with every smile, every raise of an eyebrow and every word being dissected and analysed. We at Masala! confess: we're getting a tad obsessed ourselves with this cuter-than-a-teddy hero.

His list of ex-es is getting long and interesting. Every GF, from Bebo to Sania and Prinks, has been a hottie and an achiever in her own right. (We're sort of forgetting Vidya right now!) Only superstars have A-list link-ups, right?

Big production houses are willing to back him all the way. UTV's "Kaminey" trailers focussed more on Shahid than even Priyanka, the heroine of the moment. And now Yash Raj Films is all set to explode on the screen with the Shahid-Rani "Dil Bole Hadippa". Adi Chopra has cast Shasha in Rani's comeback film – that's the biggest testimonial you can get!

Shahid can act, actually get into the skin of a character. We knew it right from "Jab We Met", although Bebo ran away with all the awards. His twin role in "Kaminey" now makes this official.

And finally... Shasha has taken his shirt off! Seen running with the horses and pumping iron in "Kaminey", his new bod can give even "Ghajini" Aamir and "OSO" Shah Rukh a mega complex.

let's give credit where it's due... 😛 SRK made his mark quite early on in his career and so did Aamir... SRK was doing movies like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Deewana, Darr, Anjaam and Baazigar... when SRK was around 28, he had the biggest hit of his career, DDLJ... 😃

it's fantastic though, that Shahid has achieved the success with Kaminey and is now considered one of the most bankable stars... 😃
