Certain expressions of endearment are reserved only for special people. Like we often hear or read Salman Khan being referred to as Salman bhai in media reports, but the fact is that the actor doesn't like being called 'bhai' by people who are not close to him.
Recently, during an interview when a radio jockey called him 'Salman bhai', the actor made his displeasure known by asking the jockey to call him Salman Khan instead.
The jockey told a tabloid that Salman only likes his brothers, sisters and close friends to call him bhai. These close friends certainly don't include Katrina Kaif.
However, when the jockey told Salman that he considered him as his "elder brother", the actor relented and told him he could address him as "Salman bhai" throughout the interview.
Tough on the outside, but soft inside. That's Salman; like a coconut.
The actor has presently been busy promoting his next release Wanted.
