Necessity of the Vrat

Today Shastri ji said, ---- " Jis Rajpurohit ki patni use Parityaag kar de" meaning the Rajpurohits wife themselves shuns or sacrifices her husband.

These words are continuously ringing in my ears so I decided to write something on it. This Vrat is very necessary for Dev and Rads to re-unite b'coz after the marriage Rads, who is the actual wife had sacrificed her husband, Dev, the Rajpurohit on her own will. She had gifted him off to her sister,Visakha. So now when Rads is trying hard to re-enter into Dev's life as his wife, Dev will have to go through this penance so that they can once again become one in true meaning. Dev had insulted the marriage vows by unknowingly staying with his sis-in-law and Radhika had committed the sin of sacrificing her husband and allowing him to stay with an unmarried girl. So for them to re-unite and form a strong bond they need to go through this hard Vrat as they are the RajPurohit and RajPurohitain, the torch holders of the Dharma.

This was well said. When I saw the SBB interview and Rubina was talking about all of Rads suffering, I seriously think we as an audience in general do not get it. I think the creatives believe what you are saying: It is Dev's turn to suffer for Rad's love. He has to do this.

Many believe that Dev has already suffered and that this is pointless. Are we so disconnected from message of creatives?

I agree with abhilasha-dreams...actually thanks for putting sense in that sentence..i totally agree with your inference...cool radev marriage will happen and will have good times probably till dev learns the truth or vish returns.....

Your analysis is very clear and makes a lot of sense. Under the circumstances there is no choice for Dev but to go through this vrat as he really wants to get married to his DG Rads. On the other hand he is actually paying the price for Rad's sins ..... I've heard a saying that if wife commits a sin the husband pays for it and if husband does something wrong the wife pays the price. So in the current flow of episodes that is what poor Dev is doing for Rad's sins. Your observation is right and this saying is sort of applying to Dev and Rads as they are real husband and wife .... Mr. and Mrs. Rajpurohit. 😆😆

totally agree with you JP - and that is why wrote a post about 'Creatives should make RADS thoughts obvious' - it will really help connect with her because right now NO viewer is able to understand her completely submitting to AMMA/DEVKI in light of all the pain that DEV is enduring - what is going on in her mind.??..

This has to be the perspective...because after all it is kanha who wants them to be together..and all the hurdles..created by them knowingly and unknowingly needs to be surpassed to reach the divinity in their love...

for which they have to work hard ...pay penance..whatever form you want to give...

Yes and I think that this is how he will actually really become RP in the eyes of society. People will respect him more. So Rads is part of Dev's rise. I had read the whole situation wrong. I thought it was humiliating, but the creatives see this as the way in which Dev becomes REALLY RP. Suffering is necessary for growth. Rads allows him to grow
