In this day and age, are such practices still rampant in Indian villages? I mean there must be violence and abuse to some extent but are tyrants like Ammaji allowed to roam around freely? Is there no justice system to look into the matter?
This is just a TV show, but I shudder to think about the plight of women who really go through all the abuse in real villages. I sincerely pray that what they show in Laado is just an exaggeration and not the actual truth. *shudder*
