I wish agle janam...

I wish agle janam was available on dvd! this is one of the best shows i've seen in a long time, with such a diverse and amazing cast of characters! All the actors do so well and their characters are so well portrayed!

I am keenly watching some popular serials on ZTV , NDTV imagine . and Star plus. They are ,as you all know 'Agle janam,' 'Choti Bahu,' 'Pavitra Rishta, 'Bandini' , Meera' and 'Mitwa' ( I watch it occasionally) Today it occured to me that thare are some things similar in all these serials .

In Choti bahu the lead couple are married but can't express it publicly and lead a happy married life !(!!)

In Pavithra Rishta again the main lead couple are married in front of every body but can't come closer even in private .

In Agle Janam the main characters are not at all married but are forced to lead a married life for which one of them is deadly against .

In Bandini, the main lead are married but are not having a happy married life as one of them can't accept the other as his wife leave alone accept her as a woman.

So all of us are waiting patiently to see them happily be together with each other. But I doubt that this will happen in near future.

Other interesting observation I found is that there is a 'Kanha' in three of the serials . They Are Choti Bahu in ZTV, Meera in NDTV imagine and Mitwa in Star plus.

yes a lot of serials have similar stories, but it's the characters and how they tell the story that's different.

but let me correct you, in choti bahu only radhika knows that she is married to dev, but dev doesn't know about it. and the story is based on a secret.

and in agle janam they are not forced to lead a married life, but only a relationship to conceive a child.

so yes most stories are based on maritial relationships, but other than that they are different. and have different sub-plots.

are DVD's available in the market to my knowledge they are not sold privately they are only properties of the channel on which they are running if ever please give some more details where it can be found etc etc.thanks.

I used to write a lot (and still do occasionally) and omg the show is so inspiring! all the characters are so amazing! they're so real, so vibrant and intense! They almost seem fluid and so mailable but i can't wrap my mind around the entirely!

I want to be able to watch the entire season whenever i feel like it w/o having to hunt it down online

come on india! take a page from western production houses and put your shows on dvd so we can stop going to bootleg video stores to find them!

The better way to express my thinking may be that all the plots have same aim-- to see that the lead pairs unite at any cost. I totally agree that the presentation, acting, direction and most important the different regional dialects which the actors speak so comfotably are amazing. I am a big fan of different themes with different narration.
