Rajeev Khandelwal madly in love

Mumbai: The flavour of the season is certainly Rajeev Khandelwal who has made a successful comeback to TV, not as an actor but as an unassuming-yet-effective host of reality show Sach Ka Saamna. While the show has raked up much controversy -- dissecting and laying bare its contestants' personal lives -- it has also proved to be super-successful with TRPs. However, when quizzed about how he is basking in the glory, Rajeev reveals that more than all the success he has got, he is very happy to have lived up to the expectations of his girlfriend Manjiri Kamtikar.

And how does she react to him getting cheeky and even casually flirting with girls on the show? "She sees the naughtiness in my eyes and calls me and says, 'I see you are getting very bold, huh?'" Rajeev laughs.

Usually an extremely private person (he never confessed that he and ex-girlfriend Aamna Sharif were even going around), Rajeev goes on to bare his heart on Manjiri. "She is a very unassuming girl who is really clear in her head. She's sorted out in life and very adjusting. The kind of profession I'm in, with no schedules and odd working hours, she has all the qualities I would love my girl to have," Rajeev says.

However, ask him why in the past he's not been so forthcoming on his personal life, and Rajeev explains, "I don't know how who I'm seeing and what I'm doing in my private space can affect society or contribute to it. That's why I'm uncomfortable talking about it. Again, I respect the other person's identity and I don't want her to pay the price for me being a celebrity. I should be talked about for my work and not for my affairs," he signs off.

In the past
Rajeev, when he was starring in the TV show Kahiin Toh Hoga, was constantly linked to his co-star Aamna Sharif. Both parties had denied the rumours but they were repeatedly snapped at parties together. Post their alleged break-up, Aamna has been linked with Aftab Shivdasani.
