I have been sitting back and reading everything that everyone has written about the character santu and it amazes me. The writers of this show first want to reel in the viewer with a character that is likable, sweet and can easily be related too but as the show progresses they fail to add depth to that character and forgetting that human nature is to grow and the type of girl santu is it would seem that she would grow in times of adversity they have only let her grow so much which I think is frustrating many viewers and has many of you guys on the board to judge her to harshly in my opinion. Now dont take offense because I am just observing all the comments and had to add my opinion. I am noticing a trend in some of the serials that are my favorites the lead protaganist are only allowed to grow so far before they are reeled back in and made to look like blundering idiots without thought or opinions of their own.

I agree....Santu has grown up but not enough to be called a woman ...i think....one should be very tolerent in life on several occasions....but not to this extend that you tolerate all these abusing, torturing and beating up and be called MAHAAN...............its just not digesting......Santu learned how to be a good home maker, a good mother etc....but has become an id***t also..thinking that all these her fate....

Yea, today Santu should have had some guts. She should have stopped Taru from hitting her instead of Birwa, hehhee! She should not take that from anybody and she should have threatened Taru with her secret just like Kanji did. Then Taru miss would have stopped all her slapping and carrying on😡
