Pace and Chemistry

Dear Friends,

I do not have NDTV Imagine in my TV and thought of making Tata Sky rich only if I like the show very much. I have been watching it after Navsy updated the video link and have the following observations till now....

1) PS and RK have established themselves as a couple, their chemistry is good and so is acting though niether of them look parents of grown up children let alone be grandparents. I am also liking the equation of Atish and Keshubhai, specially I liked the scene when Ketan asked why are you rejecting the proposal after Atish inspected the samples, he replied your father did not ask me till now and Keshu looking at Atish with all admiration and confidence. Their scenes together in the car or visit to that big house also was good....

2) Though I must admit the pace of the story is nice but upto now it is too predictable, I do not find any undercurrents or anything left unsaid for us to deduce as I think every episode should have something so that the as a viewer I get hooked to turn on the next day to see the serial. Like today, the ice-cream parlour scene was good, Nandini was upset to see a child with a person whom she had set her eyes on, we as viewers knew that the child is not Shantanu's but in the very next scene, everything is clear to Nandini and she is jumping with joy, I would have preferred a bit more 'tarpana' thora maaza ata...not like BT ki months after months same issue till you get fedup of it....lekin a little more would have done wonders for the episode...

3) In every episode, the makers of the serial are indicating where the story is leading, of course we know the storyline but harping on it ruins the essence of the story, Santanu's jiju came, it is clear he and his wife does not get along as he is reluctant to abandon his parents because of his wife....he could not only said, that your sister should realise that she and my parents are both dear to me and I would like to have a harmonious home not mere ma baap bure ho gaye, they need me etc etc., again somethings are best left unsaid and gets clearer when the story progresses....

Last point, I am sorry makers of the serial, the older generation is better casted and I am not liking the younger generation except for Ketan, he has an energy and you know he is upto something. His older brother looks like a dud, cannot act too on top of that. I like Amit Jain, I used to see Yeh jo hai zindagi till they ruined the storyline and made it into a typical saas bahu saga but I am very sorry to say I see no chemistry between him and Priya Shah. Priya is working on her diologue delivery it seems, not throwing the words anymore but absolutely no chemistry between the one of the important couples, the situtions are nice but spark is ekdom thanda, so thanda that I am getting frozen.....so in short, not enough reasons for me to make Tata Sky richer, your thought friends, love Tin

the chemistry between priya n amit is gud...

The show have a had a good start, Simple but the show being predictable is true, there should be something that keeps the audience Glued,

Amit and Priya, I think their Chemistry is good !
And over all i think the show is trying to play safe, as their real plot is when the childrens starts disrespecting their Parents. Then the main drama is to start but untill i think the creatives are just it taking a bit slow !

But Still i think the show is good, and it's performances by the cast is also good !

i agree with you completely i feel that there are too many characters instead of concentrating on two or max three families. in the process of justifying the existence of every character the main story line gets neglected. also there is too much of sweetness in the show makes you wonder some times whether you are watching hum sath sath hain or a serial. but would say the senior actors are doing their job superbly carrying the entire serial ontheir shoulders

Characters and storyline, I think are being portrayed really well.

Offcourse at the start they have to show how generous the elder generation is. How they are supporting their kids, giving them way to progress and most importantly their love is incomparable. And that's what I think give it the best start.

As per the chemistry of Priya and Amit is concerned, according to me they look the best couple onscreen. I personally adore their characters and their falling in love look so pure.

Yes, it is true that the elders don't really look as elders as they are shown, but their performances cannot be neglected too. We can see some of the best performances in this show, and the new cast, they still need some time to make places in our heart.

Overall, the show is great and had the best start. And I am in love with it.
