STAR TV, the UK's leading provider for South Asian entertainment, is presenting its first ever consumer event, Simply Star in London's Old Billingsgate, overlooking the River Thames, on September 12th.

What is it like to be on a Bollywood film set? Is reading the news as easy as it looks? How do TV serial actors manage to be such drama queens? In an interactive event like no other, Simply Star will give 5,000 visitors to experience first-hand the exciting world of STAR TV, followed by an exclusive hour-long show featuring the best of British Asian talent, including Signature, Rishi Rich, H-Dhami, Heera and Navin Kundra.

Each STAR channel will be brought to life through four dedicated zones - Star One, Star News, Star Gold and Star Plus – that will recreate the on-air look and feel of each channel and give visitors an exclusive opportunity to experience what life is like in front of the camera.

Be a part of the Bollywood action on STAR Gold and learn how to enact scenes from your favourite film to a live audience, before breaking into dance to your favourite number. Join Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan, the lead stars of India's number one drama series, Bidaai on STAR Plus who will be meeting fans; Sunil Pal, winner of STAR One's The Great Indian Laughter Challenge will demonstrate why he was crowned king of comedy and STAR News' popular newsreader and sports anchor, Siddharth Sharma will be on-hand to tell you how its done.

Simply Star will consist of a morning session from 11am until 2pm and an evening session from 5pm until 8pm.
