Piggy Chops bani Piggytails Balika Vadhu!

Yes we are talking about our very own Priyanka Chopra aka Piggy Chops and her much in news upcoming film WHAT'S YOUR RASHEE? It's a known fact that she is essaying 12 different characters, as per the 12 different zodiac signs, but apparently, and very strangely, one of them bears a striking similarity to the character of Anandi from the popular telly soap Balika Vadhu!

In one of the roles Priyanka essays the character of Jhankana, who is a naive village girl and a victim of child marriage. Priyanka is donning a village girl look, complete with two pigtails and a sari with dark makeup.

Though we are not implying that the look of Priyanka is an absolute copy of Balika Vadhu's Anandi, but the striking similarities-like pigtails and rajasthani pallu and bandhani ghagra do lay a heavy suspicion on the 'inspiration' behind the pigtails of Piggy Chops!

And oh! Did we mention even poor-poor Jhankana, is a victim of child marriage, just like Anandi! Coincident? We don't think so!

Looks like director Ashutosh was pretty much influenced by character Anandi's portrayal in Balika Vadhu and therefore decided to use it as one of the part in his film WHAT'S YOUR RASHEE?

Balika Vadhu is my most favorite show. Anandi - Avika Gor is too cute and the best actress in the television industry at the moment.
