Not only that, but Jyoti is the worst choice to expose anything to Sushma, since the latter hates her the way she does. The only way to do this is for maybe Deepu or Padma to expose Brij to Sushma - Jyoti can't be the one doing it. If that's what the creatives end up writing, it'll erode the credibility of the show.
Also, the reason Brij tried to con Sushma was that he needed to pay off his debts, which were of that magnitude. So his fake doctor friend is the one who would have had to have forged those reports, and any doctor seeing those would tell Deepu that those are fake, and that's not a doctor. But even if that happened, Brij would have to be tested and shown to be in a clean bill of health, and for that, he'd have to be willing to be tested. And the question is - why should he? So assuming the promo is what they show, how on earth does any doctor's report convince Sushma? That looks like the weakest of proofs.
For Sushma to be undeceived, she has to see evidence of Brij plotting schemes w/ Thakkar, or somehow find out about his private conversations that he has w/ places where he tries pimping her. For that to happen, Deepu has to first find out what's going on, and then, after that, find out that evidence, and then find a way of presenting it to Sushma. Right now, the story doesn't look credible.
I do wish that having done this, they move to the Devika/Sudha track and finish that off, and then go to Deepu & Sushma.
Incidentally, if Jyoti is stupid enough to try and get involved in getting her hands on these reports, that may be what Brij uses to expose this aspect of her life to Pankaj, after which there will be hell to pay.
