I don't think she is old fashioned per se.. It is her family that is forcing her to be.. I basically wnat her to stand up for herself and not be a weakling that she is..Does not matter if she falls in love with Neel again and marries him. I don't think it is wrong - so long as she has separated from Nahar and not having an illicit affair..
