Hi, soham is actually son of sargam and had to give away to middle brother as dadaji once said dat the second child born to sargam will be taken away...so only his own father is concerned abt his studies, whereas sargam know dat thinking of him is of no uses in this house so she refuses to listen..and the girl child who loves birju(village girl) is the daughter of middle brother who is of lower caste..

yup dhaara even i feel that soham is sargam's son cuz mamchaand said that sargam wont be having any authority on their next child so maybe she gave her son to middle wali bahu.
