Shahid - I would rather be Sharif!

Lapping up the success of his latest release Kaminey, a film that has not only done well in India but the overseas market, actor Shahid Kapoor admitted he is the opposite of the character he essayed in the film.

When asked if he would prefer to be a Kamina or not Shahid responded quite candidly stating he "would rather be 'sharif' (decent) and get settled." However, he is claiming that he hasn't found the girl he wishes to spend the rest of his life with.

If that be the case - how would he explain co-actor Priyanka Chopra? Rumours are after all rife about this apparent jodi. Shahid however has laughed away all rumours of the supposed link up with the actress stating that he realised link-ups are here to stay, clarifying he was not shifting his residence to stay away from her. However, they were spotted recently watching Love Aaj Kal recently.

Talking about his Kal ka love Kareena Kapoor he admitted questions about ex would probably plague him for the rest of his life but said they were no longer in touch

Shahid's next release will be Dil Bole Hadippa with Rani Mukherji on September 18th.
