India ratings: Sony TV gains, Imagine drops

The latest TAM viewership data for Indian television is out and once again not many changes amongst the top three channels but some noticeable ones towards the bottom.

STAR Plus is sitting at the numero uno position in week 33, delivering 281 GRPs, just 3 GRPs ahead of Colors' 278 GRPs. ZEE TV is not far behind either, garnering 265 GRPs for the same week.

In the next tier - NDTV Imagine, which had a surge in popularity thanks to its reality show 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar' has had its TRPs drop. Since the show ended, the channel's ratings have tumbled from a region of 120 - 140 GRPs to 104 GRPs as it stands now.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia is sitting at number 4, dislodging NDTV Imagine. Sony TV has a TRP of 130 for this week.

Real sits last with just 8 GRPs.

WOW! Great job sony! BB has done this for the channel! Congratz..i think Palampur is also getting more viewers and more popular day by day...so BB , Ladies Special and now emerging Palampur are really bringing channel ratings up! Thats great!
