Salman Khan's pet Myjaan passes away

Salman was just about getting over the death of his beloved pet Myson, who died earlier this year when he is overwhelmed with grief again by the death of his other beloved pet Myjaan. The dog passed away on Tuesday. Salman may not be as loyal to the ladies he loves, as he is to his dogs.

Myjaan had been seriously ill and Salman had admitted him at the SPCA Hospital in Parel. A friend of Salman told Mumbai Mirror, "When Myjaan passed away, Salman was shooting for London Dreams in Andheri. He quickly wrapped up the shoot and rushed home."

Myjaan was buried in Salman's farmhouse at Panvel on Wednesday, where Myson was buried too. After the burial, Salman returned to Mumbai to report on the sets of 10 Ka Dum.

"Myjaan's death has come as a shock to Salman. He will take a long time to recover. He has two pet dogs now - Myson (who was named after the first pet) and Mylove," Salman's friend added.

Salman's brother Sohail Khan confirmed Myjaan's death.

After hearing the news about his favourite pet dog's death, Salman Khan was in no mood to shoot for 10 Ka Dum Season 2nd's sports celebrity special episode on Wednesday late noon. The shooting was taking place at RK Studios situated at Chembur, Mumbai and the participating celebrities were cricketing legend Kapil Dev and Navjyot Singh Siddhu.
Our source present on the sets revealed, "Salman was very much attached to his pet dog and the news of his death affected him a lot. But apparently what seemed to have further pissed him off was that he wasn't told the news before. He was told about it on Wednesday noon whereas his dog had died on Tuesday at an animal hospital in Parel, Mumbai. His brother Sohail and sister Arpita had gone to check the dog's condition at the hospital on Tuesday."
The source added, "When Salman is in no mood to shoot no one dares to go near him and plead him to shoot. But eventually Salman relented and gave up his sulking and went ahead with the episode shoot. But by then many hours had passed by."

Salman Khan's beloved pet MyJaan died yesterday at an animal hospital in Parel. MyJaan had been suffering for the last couple of months.

In June, she had been admitted to the same hospital. When she was admitted then, she was seriously sick and was given a separate room ('Bhaijaan's MyJaan admitted'; HiTLIST, June 26). At that time, when Salman had driven down MyJaan in the night, she was in a very critical. She subsequently recovered.

Says a source, "MyJaan had been ill for some time. Also, she had been missing MySon, another dog of Salman, ever since he passed away earlier this year. On Tuesday evening, Salman attended the music release of Boney Kapoor's Wanted and then rushed to shoot for Vipul Shah's London Dreams.

It was early yesterday morning that he was told of MyJaan's death. Salman rushed home, went to his Panvel farm to bury MyJaan and came back later that morning. Last evening, he was shooting for 10 Ka Dum but he was in a very low mood and couldn't concentrate. His normal cheerful demeanour was missing.

Salman doted on his two dogs and never considered them as animals but like his family. Now with MyJaan's death he's devastated."
