Sakshi Tanwar's quiet birthday
Sakshi Tanwar (Parvati of Kahaani) was in no mood to celebrate her birthday on January 12. Although she had taken a day off, she was not keen on her Kahaani colleagues ushering in her birthday on the sets, the previous evening.

"A close relative of mine recently passed away and it's been a shock for all of us," she says with anguish. " My parents have specially come down from Delhi to be with me. Their presence and blessings were my only birthday shagun this time, since we are not in a frame of mind for any revelry, " she discloses.
Career-wise, the talented Tanwar is game for more. "Yes, I am definitely open for versatile characters, but unless it is exciting enough I do not wish to take up additional assignments."
