what is our media trying to portray???

1. Maayka on Zee - OMG, the show was so great in the beginning. Then, Soni from maayka started to make me angry. The girl just could never stand up for herself. literally her whole sentence used to be JI MUMMY JI.

2. Jaane kya Baat hui - Aradhana ....another waste of a character....educated, beautiful woman with no confidence in herself. Her husband kept insulting her on every part of her life and this girl was determined to get him back, accepting his affair, trying to prove that it is other girl's tricks that ur husband is drooling over her. N creators actually make someone so powerless..it is so sad.....overall, no confidence in her.

3. Iccha form uttaran - what can i say for this one....Ha Ammo, Nahi ammo, Ji Naani, Tappu Main to, tum to

gosh does this girl talk more than that. does she have even a little bit confidence to stand up for herself. here are few questons i have...please help me to understand one by one..

a) she is 18 or so..is she done with her education? i thought she wanted to be something in her life so that she can take care of her mother. How can u take care of someone if u cant take care of urself first?

b) why did not she speak the truth earlier? saara doodh ka doodh aur pani ka pani alag hota. Tapu told her to not to tell her family about sid ..but y she could not tell that Tapu does not like Veer?

c) she used to communicate well with her mother, when did all that change where she cant even tell her mom what is going on?

d) why does not she have any other friends except from Tapu or basti ppl?

e) why is Damini still living there knowing that her daughter is innocent? no one did any favor, she worked her behind off to raise Tapu and that house hold. They only paid her for her services.

f) why would a educated girl, who is suppose to be a GOLDEN CHILD, will throw everything away just to prove herself innocent. Only person that should matter to her is her own mother and she believes in her innocence. ( did they ever hear about a private investigator...LOL)

g) Divya - how come she does not know her own daughter? may be not about sid, but parents know what kind of personality ur kid have...

h) Damini - why u have to sacrifice ur daughter's dreams for some other child?

i) Naani - i m not even gonna start there.....

i dont think any educated girl will throw her career, her dreams, her ambition, her happiness just because she wants to prove herself innocent. there is nothing wrong with using ur life partner. Yes, there are times, when your parents raise eyebrows, but if you r sure that he is the right person u stand up together and face the obstacles. In her case, there should be no problem from Damini cuz at one point she belived that Veer is a good guy. others should not matter because people who really care for ur happiness would not be upset because something good has fallen in ur lap; they actually will be happy with u.

for once please, show 21st century woman; we are not living in 19th century.

PLEASE HELP THIS SHOW......LET US ENJOY IT AGAIN..........

Uttaran is a good serial and even I watch selected serial only but looks like the creative director running out ideas and affecting the the whole serial flow.I hope they can work it something good and wont make this serial as a flop show.I like Veer and Icha character but sad to see Icha does not have confidence to live her own dreams.

It seems in serials the only aim for any girl is marriage..When it seems Ichha is so good in studies..Why doesn't she concentrate on her career? You are old enough now to understand what is right and what is wrong..For God's sake be real!!!! Also, it is not praiseworthy to lie to suich good people like Jogi to save ur friend..In this case you are trying to be a saint but actually you are doing much wrong than Tapu herself...Also, if you have so much loyalty for Tapu & family what abt your mother? Don't you have any duty towards her//don't u wanna keep her happy..don't u wanna tell her everything?? What kind of a wretched daughter are you!!!!
