I think that ID has done justice to both Nihira and Himani unlike some mentors who are sooo impartial to one challenger 😉. To me, it seems that ID publicly praises all the challengers who have performed well and has criticzed his own students not because he wants to put them down, but for them to learn from their mistakes. Remember, Zee never shows us what goes on behind the scenes of SRGMP when ID is talking or training his students. Besides in his mind I think ID thinks Himani needs more support in his view of a good singer than Nihira. Otherwise he would never have given Nihira, compositions which are virtually impossible to sing. 😃

I agree with you.You said every thing what people who love nihira want to say.thank you.I didn't see the episode yet because in usa they broadcast late and I don't want to see now.

ID is very encouraging mentor. He knows when to twist their arms also. Like he did with Debu and Twinkle. And always showed his support for Nihira. He knew she is the best and doesn't need any extra praise.
With Himani he knew she has potential and was trying to get best out of her.

I will say ID is trying to make good singers, even if they are in opp. camp. Rest are just trying hard for their students.
After coming this far, anyways all the last 6 contestants are going to be able to reach their dreams.

My take on this:
Option 1: This is all scripted. So, we shouldn't even bother discussing why ID did what he did with Nihira, Why AS did what he did with Debo and why HR does all he does with Vinit
Option 2: ID is a good music director and a genuine person. But more than that he has a big vast ego. He is desparate to prove how genuine and impartial he is. Thats why he did all that drama with Vinit and Himani. Also, thats why he put down Twinkle and Debo all the time. Now he is paying for all that.
