all relatives are like tht...but nowdays waking up late is not tht big an issue..everybody knows how tired the bride and groom are after the wedding..infact in our families, relatives wake up late than the bride and groom 😆 indian weddings are like tht...the bride and groom can sleep for as long as they want to..they're never disturbed 😆 (and why should they wake up early? donon ko koi kaam karna hai kya ??)..actually we don't have to do tulsi poojas also na 🤣

yest. i made my MIL watch sbs kheer special...she missed the first part n when she entered the room, the second part of SBS had begun..she started saying "arre she was crying yesterday and..." and she stopped there n saw what was happening "arre ye kya ho gaya" ..i had a good laugh..my MIL is telling me why isn't anybody helping her in making kheer ? i said she has to do it alone...actually in our family, it's just a formality..the bahu has to enter the kitchen and touch a roti n tht's it..it's considered to be made by her...they say ban gayi ban gayi.....rest of the work the cookie does.. 🤣

on my first day, poori's were being cooked in the kitchen..they asked me to touch it..i made a poori n my MIL was scared than i was..nahi beta therez no need to make it..i said "see..i can make it.." my MIL and relatives were stunned n the cook was very happy..she said "ye ladki sab sambhal legi"
