Why was Dev Crying when he was saying his family that Vishaka refused to come with him? Isn't it a good thing for him?

He should be singing:

Dukh bhare din bite re bhaiyya, ab sukh aayo re
Rang jeevan main naya laayo re.

Though we could see the bahar on his face later.

Vishaka Gayi Bahar Aayi oooooo

I had the same question in my mind when I watched the episode just now.
But I convinced myself that he was pining for the loss of his family members and how he failed to keep them happy inspite of all his sacrifices.

my reasoning is: dev is the one who wanted to get married to his dream girl, it was his choice.. though he told him mom the truth, noone else knows.

He faces a lot of humiliation and sadness because people will question his judgement (how could he marry such a girl, did he not know of what she truly wanted etc ) and people like susheel questioning his RP status now.

He still feels guilt that if he had forgotten Radhika and accepted Vish, this might not have happened. Regardless of if it is his fault or not, he faces scrutiny from his family, he didn't even like her but he still had to go to try and get her and she refused..likelihood of multiple emotions of being in this situation and not being able to tell the truth..

You guys are right,

There could be many reasons

1. He is acting
2. His male ego got hurt..though we know he doesn't have one..
3. His family has to face the humiliation because of him.
3. the events occurred in the aftermath..

But i am sure sure he is not crying because vishaka left him.

he cried for the loss of family honor, for making his dadi feel bad for a situation that he could not change or control. it was his apology to his grandmother for being unable to change the mind of his "wife"- after all he is still under the misconception that he married her. he says "but she has her own dreams"- that is very telling. he is "sorry" and is crying- partly relief too 😉
