Rudra comes inside the house and tells Abhi's mom to close the door right away since the police are after him. Rudra feels safe inside. Abhi's mom is still shocked and doesn't say a word. Rudra tells her that he knows that she is surprised to see him. He tells her that in the past few months, he had to fight a lot of obstacles and had to change himself, as he wanted to come back home safely. He tells her that he has realized that he has been saved not because of his destiny but because of those who love him. He also adds that God probably didn't want him and Kesar to be separated. He tells her that he is so happy to be back, and even though he hasn't met his family, he is happy that he at least found her, after all she is also his mom. He asks her whether his family and Kesar would be as surprised as her when they see him. He tells her that Kesar must've gone through so much pain while he was gone. Just then, Abhi's mom stats breathing heavily but Rudra doesn't see her as his back is turned on her, and he goes on talking. Abhi's mom gets a heart attack and calls Kesar to give her a glass of water. Kesar, who is in the kitchen, hears her and goes out of the kitchen. She is shocked to see Rudra there. She doesn't see Abhi's mom. She goes back in the kitchen and looks worried. She looks at her mangalsutra and puts her hand on her sindoor, with tears in her eyes. She, then, sees the red bangles (which a newly married woman must wear for a certain period of time) in her hand and removes them.
2. Rudra turns his back, sees Abhi's mom in pain and rushes towards her. Just then, Kesar comes running out of the kitchen. She tells Rudra that Abhi's mom is a heart patient and was admitted in the hospital a couple of days back. Rudra tells her to call Abhi right away. Kesar calls Abhi and tells him to come home with the doctor, as his mom just got an attack. Rudra and Kesar take her to her room.
3. The lawyer comes and informs Pam that he has applied for the anticipatory bail but they need to wait for the court to open after the holidays.
4. The doctor checks on Abhi's mom and tells Kesar that she had a mild attack and is out of danger. He tells her to take her to the hospital the next day and make sure that she doesn't go through any tension. Just then Abhi comes and asks Kesar as to what happened. He, then, sees Rudra and is shocked. The doctor sees Rudra's deep wounds and tells him that he would give him a dressing. Kesar takes them to the guest room. Abhi tells himself that he now understands why his mom got the attack.
5. The doctor puts a dressing on Rudra's wounds and tells him to rest as much as he could. After he leaves, Rudra and Kesar stare at each other. Kesar then tells Rudra that she'll get him something to eat. She is about to leave when Rudra holds her hand. They look at each other, and Rudra hugs her; Kesar hugs him back. Both of them have tears in their eyes ('Bepanha' song plays). Kesar, then, sees Abhi standing at the door and pushes herself away. She then goes out of the room.
6. Shalini, Reema, and Ryan are at the police station. Shalini shouts at the police for not being able to find Rudra yet.
7. Abhi tells Rudra that he has changed a lot. Rudra tells him that he has gone through a lot in the past few months. Abhi asks him about the news that was published in the newspaper. Rudra tells him that it's a long story. Abhi asks him whether he would tell him everything and Rudra agrees. Abhi tells him that he liked his confidence when he came to his house before he left for Michigan and told them that he would return back on his feet. Rudra tells him that he has returned on his feet but is not happy, as he doubted him and Kesar, and even his child, but his eyes have now opened and he has learned his lesson. He, then, narrates to him everything that happened in Michigan. He tells Abhi that he has learned that if one treats his loved ones badly, he would never be happy. He tells Abhi that he had become so helpless that he even had to change his identity to return home, and now that he is back, he couldn't even meet his family. Abhi asks him why did he trust Shalini. Rudra tells him that he has made a lot of wrong decisions in life. He says that he doubted the one person he should've trusted the most. He tells Abhi that he knows that as always he would help him out of this problem. Just then, Kesar comes there with Rudra's food. Rudra looks at her, with tears n his eyes but Kesar tries to avoid looking at him. He is surprised to see her mangalsutra and sindoor. Rudra then tells her to forgive him for mistreating her, and for not giving her happiness. He tells her that he has realized his mistakes while he was away from her. He tells her that she is very special to him and he loves her a lot. Kesar looks at him helplessly but doesn't say anything. She, then, looks at Abhi, who looks upset. Rudra tells Kesar to give him one last chance to make up for his mistakes and to start afresh but she tells him to eat his food. Rudra tries to reach for the food on the plate but couldn't, as his arm is in pain. Kesar sits next to him and feeds him. Rudra tells her that it feels good to see her there; if she hadn't been there, then they'd have to meet after a long time since the police is after him. He tells her that he is proud that she came to live in Abhi's house to look after his mom, without even caring what people would say. He tells her that this only proves that she and Abhi share a very good friendship. He, then, tells her that on seeing her wearing the mangalsutra and sindoor, she has shown that he still has the same place in her life as before. Kesar doesn't know what to say and looks at Abhi.
