Anushka has a girls' night out!
Bangalore girl Anushka Sharma, who is currently shooting for a film with Shahid Kapoor, got a chance to dash to her hometown for a day recently.
She was there for some filmi event... but was ecstatic to learn that her friends, whom she had studied with, were down in the city as well.
"They study abroad now, so it was a great coincidence that they were in Bangalore at the same time. We had a girl's night out — chatted, ate pizzas and stayed up all night. It was a blast, but the trip was too short," complained Anushka.
About her friends' reactions on her first movie with Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka said, "They've all seen Rab Ne... and loved it." Apparently, Anu's dosts watched back to back shows on the first day itself, and that, too, from row one, as all the tickets were sold out. So have they asked for an introduction to the charming SRK, as yet?
"They love him, but have never asked me to set up any meeting. Thank God for that. They're now more excited about my next release than I am," she said. So Anushka and her gang of girls will probably munch on some popcorn and watch her second flick together... again from row one, because Anushka, of course, wishes that this time, too, the movie runs houseful.
