The latest entrant in the Balika Vadhu clan, Vikrant Massey as Shyam has already become a hot favourite among viewers. The credit goes to his bold characterization and the way he loves his onscreen wife Sughna. Though he doesn't have any sister on the show, there is somebody who is going to make the day special for him.
Reel life: Avika Gor who plays Anandi in Balika Vadhu plans to tie a rakhi to 'Shyam bhai ji' and he is also pretty excited about it. Vikrant reveals, "Avika is like my younger sister. She is tying a rakhi on me on this auspicious day."

Real life: Vikrant doesn't have a real sister, but his cousin ties a rakhi every year on his hand. "My mother is a Hindu, so we do celebrate Rakhi. This year my cousin can't be with me here. It's so sweet of Avika to make up for my sister's absence."
