I have heard from some of people that the place where they live in jungle is fake.
I also felt that, because the whole day there is no sun. the plants look like fake..
so I dont get if it is fake or not

I dunno but check this link

One excerpt mentions that
The second criticism of the show is that it pretends to be more wild than it actually is. Audiences are left with the impression that the celebrities are in the Australian Outback far from any major settlement whereas they are close to a luxury hotel. Further, the camp site in which the celebrities stay appears to be open to the elements but is largely covered by sheets above the view of the cameras. In an episode of the British show, a celebrity had to swim in a swamp apparently infested with crocodile s. Marksmen were shown ready to shoot the animals if they attacked. It was later revealed that the crocodiles were man-made and moved by remote control.
But they are in a rain forest and the bushes appear thick. So it is possible that sunrays do not permeate through the trees. Also occasionally you hear the birds tweeting. Howeve, they dont see many wild animals there, which is strange, since they are in a jungle

So true, it does seem fake, in the sense that its a forest with NO animals or they are using some area which is less dense and hence has no animals. The tasks are not at all thrilling only crude and raw based on eating poor insects. They better have some thrilling tasks like crossing river, climbing tree etc They neednt prick their brains too, they can easily lift off from the US/UK versions.

I believe it is real and anyways forests are always very dark because they are too dense to let sunrays penetrate through.

I first thought that it is fake...but the trail that they trek to go to the challenge, the stream of river where Anaida and Fiza performed and the tree where they once saw the green snake look real...It maybe that they are not too far inside the jungle thats why no wild animals or the contestants may have been given the security by the channel guys that there will be handlers for any wild animals in the vicinity so they can live a liitle carefree..Thick dense jungles are usually dark since they are so largely populated by huge trees and other vegetation so sunlight is not as bright as in open space...But yeah the cmp site is somewhere close to human habitat and not very deep into the jungle thats my opinion...
