Aaj Kal May Emerge Biggest Non SRK Starrer In Overseas

Love Aaj Kal is doing remarkable business in the overseas circuit and may emerge the biggest grosser in Overseas which does not star Shahrukh Khan. The exact figures are not in yet but the weekend business is heading for an outstanding 425,000 in United Kingdom, a good $900,000 in North America, an excellent $700,000 in Middle East, $200,000 in Australia and $425,000 in the rest of the world. This would give it a weekend total of over 14 crore.

So far the biggest non SRK starrer in Overseas is Singh Is Kinng with around 35 crore in Indian currency and it is possible that Love Aaj Kal may cross this figure by the end of its run. The top five grossers overseas in indian currency are Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Rab Ne Ban Di Jodi, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Om Shanti Om and Veer Zaara.

I still have not seen the movie but all my friends loved it...also,the reviews and everything..it just so obvious...! Happy for Saif and Deepika..!

but doesnt the article say its made a total of 14 crores? and the record to be broken is 35? 😕 how is 14 and 35 close to breaking records?

great... saif must be happy...

i guess the movie has just released... and going by the reviews, it's bound to pick up even more...

congrats to the team... deepika really needed a hit and it's saif's home production so of course, it is quite imperative that the movie succeeds...

last but not least, i am extremely glad for IMLI... he deserved a hit after JWM... 😊

I dunno, but most articles are saying its breaking records.
ANd I believe it coz the show I went to was PACKED! And it was a random 4:00 show as well, lol.

Saif must be really happy.......as a producer lot is at stake. Also happy for Imtiaz.....the pressure to deliver a good product after JWM must have been immense.
