There is this great paradox shown between Dev and Radhika. On one hand, they show Radhika as the devout girl who was brought up by a priest in a very traditional background. One who spent her life listening to bhajans and religious talks and has been taught to respect and obey all religious beliefs. She painstakingly observes each and every ritual prescribed in the religious books, is shown as a person very dear to God and is the epitome of piousness. Yet she has broken ALL the seven marriage vows.
