Ever since Gunjan realized she's in love with Samrat, we can see some cases when she went against her principles and beliefs.
first, Gunjan has not been honest with Samrat with regards to her feelings and thoughts. he keeps asking if she's ok and she keeps telling him yes, nothing is wrong, when in reality a lot is wrong.
in the cooking scenes, when samrat asks if she ever got that butterflies wali feeling before meeting a guy, gunjan did not answer....she remained silent.
but her lies are justified to some extent. Samrat did not reciprocate her feelings and instead went gaga over the new girl in college. Gunjan did not want to affect their friendship. also, given her reserved personality, its hard to imagine her confessing her love to the guy she likes.
And finally, the one recent, significant scene (i thought this scene would be really pointless when i saw the promo but now think otherwise) Gunjan tries to communicate with Samrat after reading his note regarding the music globe dancing globe. She was very adamant on not speaking to Samrat before that, even though we saw instances (udays party) when she wanted to. when i saw the promo, i was upset that Gunjan went against what she said and believed in. but we know how important the music globe is to Gunjan and how significant it is in SaJan's story. Then she sees Samrat in the hallway and walks up to him, smiling. Yet again going against what she thinks is right.
this move by Gunjan showed that she is a normal human even though she acts like a superhuman being sometimes. she was touched by samrat's words, gave into her feelings and went against her promise of not communicating with Samrat.
The above reasons make me like Gunjan even more now. Because she too has made a lot of mistakes, in the name of love and friendship. She's not perfect...she puts in a lot of effort to subdue her feelings and SAY the right things but has these moments when she can't....cuz she's in love!
But Samrat considers her almost perfect, a girl who can do no wrong! apni principles ki pakki
if only Samrat knew, that she's not that perfect!
but yes, she's the perfect girl for him! 😳 the so-called balancing factor in his life.
