RKS July 20th Written Update

Hey Everyone!

Hope you all had a good weekend! 😊 Today's episode was just a lot of talking. 🤔 But anywayz, here's the update:

The episode starts off with a quick replay of what's been happening in the last three weeks, in Fateh Ghar. Now, Rakhi will meet the Dulhas's families, and friends, and she will get to know them better. This new journey will start off with Manas.

Manas is shown, and he says I'm feeling sad, because I've grown attached to this place, as I've spent a lot of time here. I met a lot of people, learned a lot from them. I want Rakhi to see my lifestyle and I want her to know everything about me. I want her to meet my friends, family. The journey from friendship to love that I experienced in the last 3 weeks. Every moment I spent with Rakhi, ill always remember it. I see my destination very near. I'm happy Rakhi is going to see my house, and meet my family.

Then he's shown packing up his stuff, taking his special things: the pyar ka nazrana, and a charm-sized sandal one that Rakhi has, and one that he has. Then he goes and sits with Rakhi, and she asks him if he packed everything. He says yes and a lot of memories as well. He tells her some of them, and then he's like I'm waiting. Meet my family, you got to know me, my mom, now come to Delhi, and see how I live. She says, I liked your mom, am looking forward to meeting your sister, but I'm scared of meeting papa. Manas says don't worry. We will talk to him. Just be confident, and everything will be fine.

Manas's mom off camera says they planned how they will welcome her. Dhol bajayenge, do the aarti, throw flowers, and bring all the neighbors. Rakhi and Manas come in and Rakhi off camera says I felt like I was already married. The way everyone was welcoming me, it was a really big, and Manas is like everyone is shouting Manas-Rakhi, and it felt very good.

Inside they're all sitting and Rakhi says I didn't expect such a grand welcoming. Manas tells her, my mom, papa, and sister, mean the world to me, and then they all are talking. Off camera Manas says I wanted Rakhi to see how I live, and how we do everything, and only after showing her everything, I wanted her to accept me. Also I wanted her to know my parents and for my parents to like her because I don't want to take any decision without their opinion.

Manas sister (Mannat) asks Rakhi her favorite food, and she says Punjabi food, Mughlai, and popcorn. Then she asks her about her hobbies, Rakhi says reading, dancing, shopping, and when she's not shooting she sleeps.

Mannat says I learned that on the show, you designed all your clothes. Rakhi is like yes, and then Mannat asks, what do you like to wear? She says I can wear anything, saris, salwar kameez, western clothes, but I never wore a sari before the Swayamvar. I mostly wear western clothes. Off-camera Manas says I have no problem with that since I am modern and I know today's girls like to wear modern clothes. Off-camera Mannat says if I wear jeans, then I don't expect anyone in our house to walk around in a sari or salwar kameez all the time. Then Manas's dad tells her we are very simple.

Off camera the dad says it felt nice meeting her, and she was Rakhi not Rakhi Sawant.

Then Rakhi tells him me and Manas have a 5-6 years age difference. And then he's like if you and Manas can understand each other, and stay with each other till the end, then its our job just to show you the way, and advice you. Off camera, Manas says if we can understand each other, than age is not an issue.

Then Rakhi asks if we do get married, how will you face everyone since people have given me the title item girl. Even though I consider myself an actress, but there are special appearances, and I do songs. Then the mom is like if the 5 of us have understanding, then there should be no problem. Then his sister is like all professions are equal. As much respect an engineer gets, that much an item girl gets.

Off-camera Manas's mom says I don't believe she is an item girl. She is an actress, like Zeenat Aman, Hema Malini, and Helen. They're good actresses, and everyone likes them. And even to be an item girl she has worked hard. Off-camera Manas says dancing is an art. Art is her profession, and she earns money by that. Not everyone can dance, and there is nothing wrong with that, and my parents respect that.

Rakhi says you guys are all broad minded and I can't believe that I'm here. The dad is like some changes come automatically after marriage. What happened in your past, was your past, we have nothing to do with that. If the marriage happens, then you are going to be Mrs. Manas Katyal. I hope you can adjust with that.

Then Rakhi says I am in Mumbai, and Manas is also in Mumbai. Manas's dad says Mumbai to Delhi is only a two hour flight. Then Manas is like I lived in Mumbai, there was a connection, and when you will be there, there will still be a connection. There should be no problem. They talk some more, off-camera the dad says that's good, we will have 2 houses. Sometime they will be in Delhi sometimes we will be in Mumbai. Then Mannat says; okay, now I'm going to show her my room. They go, and her mom says off camera, it's like they are good friends already.

She shows Rakhi the room, and they sit, and she asks her how the family was. Rakhi says all of them were great, and then she tells her I want a father's love. I saw your papa, and I remembered my father. She gives her 2 gifts, and then they look at a photo album of Manas' childhood. Then Rakhi says Manas has a really nice nature, and then Mannat says I wanted him to come back with her babhi. They talk some more, and off camera Rakhi says Mannat told me that she wants all my qualities. And why not? Every girl should stand on her own, become like me, so you never have to bow down in front of anyone, except your elders, and god.

Then Rakhi asks Mannat, what should I do? I am in a dilemma. Mannat asks you still have doubts? Rakhi says not doubts, it's the age difference. Mannat off-camera says if it was age, then he would have been eliminated long ago. Then she tells Rakhi we'll solve all problems. Then the mom comes, and calls them for dinner. They go, and Rakhi serves them the food. Off camera the mom says we liked this very much that she served all the food. Then Manas serves Rakhi, and they all talk some more, and she compliments the food. Off camera she says I was scared, as I served the food, but she says I enjoyed a lot, and we laughed a lot, and it was nice. The mom then says tomorrow Manas is going to show you Delhi. Off camera Rakhi is like that's what I wanted, now we can get more time to know each other.

The next day, the whole family is at the gurdwara, and praying. Then off camera Rakhi is like I never go to the gurdwara, I only believe in Jesus. But Manas's love, respect for elders, took me to the gurdwara. Off camera Manas says it felt very good at the gurdwara with Rakhi. I wanted her to come with me once, and she was happy, and so was I.

Then Manas and Rakhi are sightseeing. Off camera she says I've come to Delhi lots of times before for shows, but never had I seen so much of it. It felt very good seeing Delhi with Manas. Off camera Manas says we went sightseeing, and I wanted to take her somewhere related to my childhood, so I took her to Narulas. There they had ice cream, they fed each other ice-cream, and they talked. Off camera Rakhi says we had so much ice-cream, and he got me a milkshake. I usually don't eat ice-cream, but it was different with Manas.

Rakhi and Manas are now sitting and talking and she says I have gotten more happiness here than I got in Fateh Ghar. They talk some more, and then she says what I imagined your father to be, he was completely the opposite. Manas says when we were leaving Fateh Ghar, my fear of papa not accepting you is gone.

They talk some more, and then off camera, Rakhi says he wants some time if they get married, as he doesn't earn much. Manas says I don't want that if we get married I don't want it to happen that we go shopping and I have to ask my parents for money. Rakhi says off camera, that absolutely right. After marriage, you don't ask for money from your parents. I don't want my husband to keep asking from his parents or from me.

Then Rakhi says lets talk about your family, and all the good things. When I was in your house, I thought we were already married, and I am Mrs. Katyal, and we were all a family. Especially today, went we went to the gurdwara. All of us together, I got a lot of positive vibes. The dupatta on my head, I haven't lived like this before. Its not like I haven't gone to the mandir, but I never thought of going with my mother in law, sister in law, with everyone. God knows whose house I will go to, but it was a very nice experience. Then she says when I saw your father, I thought of my father. I love your father! I'm waiting for your family to come to Mumbai, and so I can meet them again, and I especially liked when we were all sitting at the dinner table, and how we all joked, and laughed. Then Manas is like I don't want to leave but I have to. But we will come to Mumbai, and I will take you with me. There are flashbacks of both of them in Fateh Ghar dancing, on the date, then eating ice cream, then at the gurdwara together.

Off-camera Rakhi says Manas has 50 percent chance of becoming my husband, since there are 3 more Dulhaas waiting for me. Then Manas leaves and the episode is done!!😆
