After that everyone was sad about Simran's death and Shabd blamed Mahi. Rahul would not talk so no one knew who killed his mom. One night Mahi and Rahul are home alone and Angad comes to mahi, Shabd saves her and Angad goes to jail. Afterwards Rahul is returned to his real parents. Mahi becomes pregnant and Soni is sad cause she wants to be pregnant too. After much craziness that she does she becomes pregnant. Everyone is happy except Mohini who wants to make a Maayka for her family, so she leaves. Soni and Mahi get in a fight over who's fault it is that she left. There is a party for mahi being pregnant and Mahi misunderstands a Soni and gets mad at her. They fight and Mahi accidentally pushes Soni off the stairs and she has a miscarriage. Soni is really sad and that crazy old lady keeps saying that Jeet should marry again. Mahi has her baby and Soni brings home a girl for Jeet to marry and he agrees to make Soni happy. it turns out that this girl is evil and friends with the old lady. Mahi finds out and when the wedding happens the girl marries her fiance, not Jeet. Soni gets sad and feeling bad, mahi gives one of her babies to Soni and Jeet and they become very happy. Shabd comes home and angrily Tayegi tells Shabd that Mahi gave a baby to Soni. He gets mad and goes to Soni. After seeing how much Soni cares for the baby (who she jumps off a stair case to save) he says that the baby can stay with Soni. The babies are both named and they are all happy. Meanwhile mohini finds a Maayka for her daughter with a old man and his wife along with Sukki (a boy she meets while she is leaving her home, and the granddaughter of the old couple). Some time later Shabd begins to get some loss in his business and Tayegi blaims giving up Ipshita (the name the babies Ipshita and Ishana in a ceremony and Shahi's home). They family loses all their money and Shabd gets angry and fights a lot with Mahi in his drunk rage. Mahi decides to mortgage the house so Shabd can use the money to fix the losses. Meanwhile Jeet is becoming very successful in his business and is always working not giving time to his family. Mahi gets a job as a journalist and is working all the time leaving Ishana at home to Tayegi. After a few months Jeet has a party for himself and there Shabd reveals to everyone (while he is drunk) that he is a failure and that Mahi has a job. The next day Mahi finds out that they are mortgaging her house and on the day of the auction her boss AD buys the couse for Mahi and she would pay him back. Shabd gets mad and thinks that Mahi likes AD so Mahi leaves the house. Jeet did not want to help so he goes home. Shabd decides to bring Mahi back when he sees her with AD thinking that they are together when really Mahi was quitting her job. Shabd goes to AD's home to get Ishana and is yelled at by AD and kicked out of the house.
Today: Shabd goes to Mohini's home and begs to see Mahi but Mahi does not want to so Sukke tries to get him to leave. A mirror falls and he picks it up and sees Mahi, he goes and begs Mahi to forgive him and she does. They go home and are happy when some man (sent by AD) come to kick Shabd and his family out of the house. Mahi tries to call AD but cannot contact him. So they all take their luggage and leave the house sadly while Shabd thinks back to memories in the house.
