Yes, India is tourist friendly, but there is a need of some reforms.

India is really a tourist friendly nation .There is an ancient saying in India that "a guest is like God himself". There are extreamly rare cases of tourist harrasment in India.

I agree, ppl do treat you well if you are from abroad.. One country thats not to tourist friendly is Egypt..😕...many tourist traps...

I dont like touring the glitz and glamour tho...But i have been to Agra, Jaipur, very nice places...I have noticed many foreigners being treated very well...

I find that it's mostly tourist friendly except for the traffic cops. When I went to Delhi from Gujarat we had to bribe at least 10 cops or they wouldn't let the car go.
