Imagine Shah Rukh Khan playing the character that Amitabh Bachchan enacted in 1970s underworld thriller 'Don'.
The latest buzz in tinsel town is that Farhan Akhtar is mulling the idea of making a modern-day remake of yesteryear hit 'Don' which was scripted by his father Javed Akhtar along with Salim Khan. The film starred Amitabh (double role) with Zeenat Aman.
Currently, Farhan is said to be working on the movie's script. He has already spoken with Shahrukh about the project and the latter has given his consent in principle.
Farhan is quoted by Indiafm as saying: "I am still working on the script. It's an interesting idea, but I need to see how it unfolds on paper first and on screen subsequently."
Farhan added that SRK has "okayed the concept in principle, but we will take a decision once we are through with the script."
It is still not known which actress will play the female lead in the film.
