Ashish rolls out Chattai with telly stars

Mihir-Maninee, Chhavi-Mohit, Gaurav Gera and others were some of the popular faces spotted at actor Ashish Nayyar's (DK of Tumhari Disha) pet project – Chattai. "It was amazing to witness the realization of my biggest dream in the company of close buddies."

Describing the mood on New Years Eve Ashish said, "The restaurant-cum-bar-dining area turned out to be a major energy spot. People were fighting wars over a game of darts and Genga, (building blocks) on one side. And on the other, a host of sexy women from gulped cider and attempted some belly dancing!"

Nayyar adds that everyone was in high spirits that night, "People started dancing on the bar counter and there was some pole dancing as well. Maninee and Mihir had a roaring time in the inner bar area. She is a fabulous dancer, and everyone applauded her efforts. Sachin Khurana (Saath Phere) played the popular DJ and kept the mood upbeat."

The highlight of the night according to Ashish, was the time he and Chhavi re-enacted scenes from their Zee show Tumhari Disha. "It was good fun to have Mohit also involved in our skit. Also Kritika (Desai) joined me later in a dressed-to-kill black outfit and danced with me, while her husband and daughter cheered on."

The actor said that going by the reaction his friends gave him on Chattai, he thinks the resort will soon turn out to be the number one hot spot for tourists visiting Goa.

"Reactions to Chattai were extremely heartening. All the women found it romantic, especially the filmy white curtains and the cozy bedrooms, while guys like the spacious outdoors and sports room it offers."
