I think Shaan was fabulous as a judge ! He made some very valid points like talking about hemant's nasal quality or appreciating yatharth's finishing qualities .

Moreover, his talking about parents' immense contribution which children seem to underdo as they progress in life was indeed very well said.

I think the only flaw that came out really was shalini being selected as the champ.😕

On a side not, shaan is a charming person and its always lovely to see him !😃

Ditto to your comment. I wonder why the judges not commenting properly..just saying I am not happy is not enough. He has to specify why he is not happy. If I could not get it then how could a child will get it. I understand these children are talented but noone can read others mind. Shankar Mahadevan used to sing and tell how it should have been done. Even Sonu also specify by singing or pointing out.

dunno really ! maybe they tell them backstage but since shaan can't specify it backstage he 'd rather do it onstage. But honestly speaking if in the past judges have done it onstage, i don't understand why these both(A and A) don't do that so often !

Yup ..i really enjoyed Shaan's critical analysis ...He was bang on target about pointing out the highs and lows of each performer ....I wish he was here everyday ..i am sure the way he talks to the kids they don't get demoralise but energised to follow his tips ...
I was feeling sad looking at Yashodhan ..The way Abhijeet said I am not happy , how could he perform better tomorrow ???...

oh yeah, shaan does have that charisma doesn't he?😃 i think shaan was spot on in general, except for one odd case here and there😊

hmm abhijeet has said that two- three times before too. But i guess , common ! if one has to take negatives out of each situation then that comment would act as a degrader else it should act as a motivator, honestly speaking😃

Haven't seen the episode (of course), but I'm so excited to see Shaan, he's such a sweet and charming guy, I'm sure he was excellent with kids! Far far better than Abhijeet - arrghh.

Don't forget they r kids and r exposed to the world of glamor , glitz, TRP vagera vagera for the 1st time ..i wouldn't care if they were 16 or older but Abhijjeet's way of saying is very stern and rude ....where as when shaan explained the same thing ..it sounded soo pleasant ...
Having said that ..i mentioned from day 1 that i don't feel the connection with Yashodhan's performance ..he is too dry and his rendition lacks soul IMHO.....

His comments were good but in some case he followed the script given by show director. Like standing ovation for Yathart was forced one and champ of the day was also forced one. I dont know if Shalini really sang anything. Champ of the day should have gone to Abhijeet jr. Yathart needs to work on couple of thing like keeping his mouth open for longer time than required during singing, and needs to stop his bad experiment also needs to bring softness in his voice. Other are not that good in boy so he is still my favorite but if Abhijeet gives couple of good performance, he will become my favorite.
