July 7^th, 2009 Written Update

Nikhil's dad tells Jhanvi that from now on she will have to wear chains. He goes and gets them (guess he had it ready) and tells Suman to make Jhanvi wear them. In the room, Champa unravels the cloth that is holding the chains. Jhanvi is surprised to see that they are not really chains but simply metallic anklets that jingle(that was anticlimactic…). She tells Suman that she doesn't mind wearing these at all, while Suman and Champa exchange worried glances. (ahhh its so annoying that all these people do are stare at each other… why doesn't anyone talk?? Atleast someone cud give Jhanvi a heads up on what the whole anklet thing is supposed to mean)

Meanwhile, Nik's dad remembers his wife and how he had told her to wear those same anklets. His wife tells him that he can't force her to wear them, and he slaps her. (so im guessing those anklets r what killed his wife or something along those lines and thus he gave them to Jhanvi?)

At Akash's house, he is gifted with a watch for his bday by his mom. Devyani then goes on and on about how Gauri did puja for him early in the morning, and then leaves. Gauri then proceeds to give him a shirt (looks like something Kshitij wud wear) and a card. She tells him that all her feelings and pyaar for him is inside that card. He gives her a half smile and then calls over the servant. He hands the shirt over to him, explaining that Gauri had brought this as a gift for him (the servant… I feel bad for the servant who is forced to wear such an ugly shirt). Akash then rips up the card and walks away, leaving Gauri, once again… in tears. (haha… this has got to be the scene of the day. Gauri had that coming, obviously. I don't see why she is still so desperate even though Akash has made it pretty clear to her how much he hates her)

In jail, Rasili tells that they need some miracle to get them out of this place. Kajri replies that not a miracle, but they need the misfortune of the Garodias to come and save them. Rasik arrives there saying that he is that misfortune. (and here we go again…) End.
