I still think it was because Rads had forbidden him in PH to do so whatever may the situation be. It was the same thing that stopped him to put his hand on her shoulder wher he went to see her after he had rescued her......remember.
But I liked the questioning way he was looking towards Kanaha at that time as if asking him why he was giving so much pain to Radhika. That was so cute!!

Your observation seems more accurate, more recent... thekolgal....(epi june 17, last part, continues into 6/18, 1st part) when radhika screams after waking up from a bad dream... vivek ~usne koi bura sapna dekha tha isee liye cheekh padi thee... FF .... Dev ~ par kya main tumhaare paas aakar baith bhi nahin sakta ? radhika ~ kisi bhi haalat mein hamein is baat ki anumati nahin hai ki hum paas ayen... kisi bhi paristhiti mein hamein kamzor nahin banana .... Dev ~ jise khud se bhi zyada pyaar kiya ho, uske bina kaise jiya ja sakta hai ... radhika ~ ab aapki shaadi ho chuki hai.... dev (moving her hand towards her) ~ dekho please tum janti ho na ki tumhari tabiyat theek nahi hai ... radhika ~ aapka is tarah se mere paas hona aapko aapke ghar walon se door kar dega... isliye aap se kah rahi hoon ki aap yahan se chale jaiye.....

After above heartrending convo btw the two, koi gunjayish nahin rah jati that dev should touch her, even though the excruciatingly tired radhika's head is resting on his chest (oh my god.... again, one of the best RaDev moments.... )
