Hello everyone! 😃 I'm not sure if I'll be writing anymore tonight or not--but for now...this is the only one! 😃😳 A lot of people asked for a sequel to one I wrote yesterday called "You Are Not Alone," and so this is my sequel to that, and so I hope you all enjoy it! 😃
You Are Not Alone:

She had left him and made him promise not to follow but now that he'd seen her he had to talk to her.
He couldn't let her go believing everything that she had seen that night 6 years ago. She didn't know the truth.
But the truth didn't matter anymore. Nothing mattered.
She was leaving him. She was marrying Yuvraj and she looked happier than Prem had ever made her look.

us haadse ke baad, yeh dil toot gaya tha
If his Heer was happy nothing else mattered to him. He would die a thousand deaths just to see that one smile on her face.
And so now, he was going to her wedding. He had vowed to her that he wouldn't come after her; but he needed to make sure for himself that the woman he loves was happy.
He wanted to see her have a real wedding—not like the one they had.
ek shaqs raaste mein kahin choot gaya tha
us haadse ke baad, yeh dil toot gaya tha
Prem got out of his car and started walking to the house that was in front of him. He checked his phone again for reference where Yuvraj had sms'd him the address.
As he stood outside the colourful bright house all his memories came flooding back to him again.
Would he be able to take this step and walk into her life once more just to walk out again?
She'd hate him for coming, he was sure of that but his kambhakt heart didn't understand.
woh shaqs jiske kaandhe pe sir rakhe mein soya
seene se lagke jiske kayi baar mein roya
jiski zulfon ke khusboo mein raaton mein khoya
jis jism ki barsaat mein yeh jism bheegoya
She was the most important person in his life and now he was going to watch her belong to someone else.
Someone else would be her reason to smile.
Someone else would be the one to hold her hand.
Someone else would hug her close when she was scared.
Someone else would tie her mangulsutra around her neck.
Someone else would apply sindoor to her forehead.
But that someone wasn't Prem.
ek din kisi baat pe jab woh rooth gaya tha
us haadse ke baad, yeh dil toot gaya tha
He wiped away the lone tear that fell down his cheek and sighed before entering the decorated house.
His eyes were constantly searching for her. He had to see her. He had to give her her amanat.
He had no right over it anymore.
His hand tenderly touched the payal sitting in his pocket.
"Dulhe ka kamra kaunsa hain?" He asked a bystander.
"Aap Yuvraj ke dost ho na?" The woman asked.
Prem smiled impatiently. "Ji—aap bata sakhte hain?"
The woman pointed up to the stairs and Prem went off on his quest. He had to find Heer without anyone seeing him.

us haadse ke baad, yeh dil toot gaya tha
He saw a few girls rush out of a room and hid, not wanting to get caught.
As the girls left down the stairs he made his way to the door. His hand trembled as he touched the door.
What was he doing?
Did he have any right to be trespassing in her life now?
"Soni! Tum bahar ho? Please andar aake yeh theek kardo na? Mere se nahin ho raha hain," he heard her chiming voice call from inside.
He took a decision then. Whatever happened now, he'd deal with it. Right now he needed to see the woman he loved.
He opened the door and saw her sitting on the bed, her back towards him, while her hair was all brought in front since she was trying to tie her dori at the top of her sari blouse.
"Soni jaldi kar! Baraat agayi hogi!"
Prem was surprised as he took in her blue saree. He'd always imagined Heer to be wearing pink on their wedding day to celebrate their color.
rehta hoon qaid abhi jiski yaadon ke pehare mein
hai labz jiska zinda meri baahon ke ghere mein
But it wasn't THEIR wedding day, he reminded himself.
He stepped into the room and walked closer to her. She kept her back turned and he took the ends of the dori in his hand. As he tied the knot he couldn't help but wonder what could have been if they had met under normal circumstances again after 6 years and she wasn't marrying Yuvraj.
Would she still give him a minute to listen to what he had to say?
It was no use thinking about it now.
Without another word he slowly took out the payal and left it on the bed before getting up and turning around.
"Ruko,"
jiske khwaabon ko maine neend mein sanjoya
jiske ashqko ko maine apani ankhon pe piroya
That was the one word he had ached to say that day at the train station. He wanted her to stop from leaving but he couldn't say it.
His feet shuffled as his nervousness grew.
He knew she was coming closer. His heartbeats could feel it.
Her hand rested on his shoulder and his eyes closed.
ek din kisi baat pe jab woh rooth gaya tha
us haadse ke baad, yeh dil toot gaya tha
"Pr—Prem?" Her voice shook and his heart hurt the same pain.
ek shaqs raaste mein kahin choot gaya tha
us haadse ke baad, yeh dil toot gaya tha
"Heer," He said as he turned around.
Her breath got caught and she let out a small gasp. Her foot fell backwards in shock and he caught her in his arms.
He couldn't believe that after 6 LONG years his Heer was finally in his arms. He could see tears building in her eyes and he wanted to brush them away but he couldn't. He had no right to be holding her this way.
"I'm sorry." He said as he let her up.
"Payal tumne rakha na?" Heer asked.
Prem nodded as he turned away from her. "Tumhari—tumhari shaadi ka tofa,"
Heer scoffed as she turned him to face her.
"Ek baar phirse Prem, ek baar phirse tum sirf aapni ankhon pe yakeen kar rahe ho. Tum kabhi aapne dil ki awaz nahin sun sakhte na?"
"Kya matlab?" He was stunned that she was even speaking to him.
"Meri shaadi nahin ho rahi hain," Heer said softly.
"What?"
ek shaqs raaste mein kahin choot gaya tha
us haadse ke baad, yeh dil toot gaya tha
She looked up at him and sighed. "Tum soch bhi kaise sakhte ho?" she shoved his shoulder. "Maine zindagi bhar tumse pyar kiya aur ab tumhe lagta hain ke main kisi aur ki ho jaongi?"
Prem couldn't believe what he was hearing. Did Heer really mean that? Was she not getting married to Yuvraj?
"Heer, main tumse bahot pyar karta hoon,"
Without waiting for him to say anything more Heer ran towards him and hugged him tightly scared that if she let go, he'd disappear again.
It took her 6 long years to understand what he meant to her. Nobody could ever make her feel this way except Prem.
ek shaqs raaste mein... raaste mein
So? Did you guys like it? 😳 I personally hate the ending of it, only because it seemed too rushed to me, but I'd love to know what everyone else thinks about it! 😃
Love,
Meera😳
