Robert Pattinson: Finds being a celebrity 'strange

Twilight" hottie Robert Pattinson is reportedly finding his newfound fame a bit strange, according to his "New Moon" co-star Jamie Campbell Bower.

It's no secret R-Pattz has hordes of fans ever since playing vampire hunk Edward Cullen in the hit series. According to Jamie, all of the attention is a bit much for the 23-year-old British actor.

"Robert is coping with it all very well. I think he is finding all the attention a bit strange," said "New Moon" co-star Campbell Bower.

Jamie told BANG Showbiz:

"It is nice to be back in England because I have anonymity there and I can do whatever I want. But being in America was absolutely crazy, you couldn't go out. There were paparazzi following us everywhere. It was fun for me because I was only there for two-and-a-half weeks but I feel sorry for the guys who have to deal with it the whole time."

In related news, R-Pattz was spotted shooting scenes for his latest project "Remember Me" on Thursday, July 2 in New York City.

LOL........im not surprised....people knew him as Cedric Diggory in harry potter but he became extremely popular after twilight.....and in one of the interviews, he mentioned how he feels like "he's screamed at where ever he goes"..lol....

This guy is so sweet, he gets overwhelmed by the fangirls but he had to know what was in store for him when he signed on, altho he said in one interview that he only did it because he knew that he'd have three films in his kitty as at the time BD was not published. Maybe he thoughthe could be like his HP's co-stars who enjoy relative anonymity despite their fame. Brits are just more reserved! 😳
