"Where are you taking me Prem?" She asked again, the fifth time in 10 minutes.
Prem sighed as he held her hand and led her along the stony trail. This girl would seriously chew off his ears if she asked again.

"Is that water I hear?" She asked.
"Yes, now...if you don't shush. I'll leave you all alone here." He threatened as he turned back to see her face.
A smile came at her lips as she let out a giggle. "You'd never do that."
Was she testing him? Prem grinned as he let go of her hand and saw the smile get wiped of her face and came to her from behind. "Are you so sure about that?"

He saw her arms go out in front of her as she tried to find him; she nearly ripped his shirt but it was all worth it to see that gorgeous bright smile on her face. Her smile always seemed to make him feel that all the problems in the world could be solved if we all just learned to get along.
"Prem!" She finally shouted to get his attention. "Please don't do this to me."
He heard a pleading in her voice that touched his heart and so he went back to her and slowly took her hand in his. "Sorry,"
"You best be,"
He smiled to himself as he turned to the front and saw what he had been waiting for. "Watch your step here," he told her as he held both her hands down the steps. He brought her inside a gazebo and let go of her hands. "Stand still," he ordered in a soft yet firm tone.
She did as told, simply rubbing her hands on her arms, trying to get some heat.
"I didn't realize it'd be so cold," Prem muttered as he slipped off his open blazer to put over her shoulders. He quickly bent down and lit some candles on the table before going back to his girl waiting for him.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
"I have been for the past 10 minutes Prem," she retorted back. He smiled as he took hold of her blindfold and whipped it off. He leaned back and watched her reaction as she hurried to the railing and took in her surroundings; twirling around a few times.

She turned towards him with a wide smile. "I love it," She rushed into his arms and he smiled into her wavy brown hair. "Happy Anniversary Zahra,"
"I love you Prem," She looked up into his dark eyes and smiled; feeling blessed that she was the one to have Mr. Prem Juneja as her boyfriend for an entire year now. He had come into her life like a tornado but she hadn't even come to know when she had fallen in love with him a year ago. Every time his hand clasped hers, it felt meant to be.

"What did I do to deserve an angel like you?" He whispered as they swayed themselves with all the sounds of nature; hearing the crickets chirp and the light water fall underneath the gazebo.
"Whatever it was—I did it too," she grinned up as she felt his gaze on her. Her cheeks tinted pink just the way she knew they would. He'd take one look at her and she'd feel herself becoming weaker.
When he pulled away from her, her smile faded. She enjoyed being held protectively in his open arms.
"Zahra," He turned away from her and she could see him shuffling something in his pockets.
"Yes Prem?" She asked, still nervous over whatever he was doing. Without even realizing it she was biting down hard on her lip while fiddling with the dupatta of her anarkali suit. He turned around suddenly and her breath caught as she saw him kneel down in front of her. "Prem—are you?"
He held a finger to his lips indicating for her to ssh and listen. She abided as he opened his mouth to speak, holding a small blue box in his hand.
"Zahra, ever since the first time we met I gave myself to you and I know I'm not so good with saying things to get you to realize you love me too, but I just hope you'd be willing to let all this go and spend the rest of our lives together?"

Zahra couldn't help but let the tears fall. Even though his speech was just a few jumbled words; she felt him in there. These were the words HER Prem said to her to make her his. She nodded slowly. "Yes Prem,"
He grinned as he slipped on a gorgeous diamond cut ring on her left ring finger before taking her in his arms and spinning her around.
This place was going to be etched in their memories for years to come now; a place where everything magical had occurred. A place for Zahra where she knew she met the prince of her dreams and a place for Prem where his guzarish was finally fulfilled.
