Adi realises something is wrong with A and rings up Anu's friend to discuss the case. The friend doesn't know much and can't really help. Adit decides that with him around, no one can harm his daughter. Daddy dear……..you don't know how happy I was to hear you speak so positively. I was suddenly so hopeful.
Its about time Adit did a little more to learn about Antara's condition.
The Starchy marm Mrs Mehta is sooooooooo upset because my Angel parroted her words. She was aghast and was affronted. "How dare you Antara" she raved and ranted I shall report you. I was in splits………… Little A was intimidating that ghoulish teacher!!! Please……give me a break. What a teacher ………she couldn't even recognise that A was different from the other kids. How could someone like A with such a benign face behave cheekily and poke fun at the teacher? The Head master is actually astonished that A could actually do "beizzatti" of the teacher when she hardly spoke a word during her interview. There is a knock on the door and the Vidya enters. The HM tells her there are too many complaints about A. Vidya looks at that awful creep (Mrs Mehta) sitting on the chair and realises that a plot is being hatched.
The HM tells Vidya that she should get her act together and her children under control at home. If this were to start reflecting on her work in school, it would be better if she handed over the reins to someone else (meaning Mrs Smug Mehta). Obviously Mrs Mehta's inputs have obviously helped that silly man to come to his conclusions. He dismisses both of them and tells them to return to their classes. Outside the door, Vidya stops her colleague and tells her to mind her own business and not interfere in her private life. Hearing that the cow replies, "bura maan gayii? But I was saying so only for your own bhalayi." She goes on to sneer that she feels sorry that she has to take care of her husband's aulad. O dear ! She has the knack of adding fat to fire…..and due to her (A) Vidya would lose her place in the school and the Annual day. What an infuriating woman! Vidya is left gnashing her teeth.
Frankly the HM doesn't have a clue about children and I seriously wonder who made that twit Mrs Mehta a teacher........
Vidya is sitting in the balcony pondering and thinking …….probably of what went wrong in her life. Abhi is trying to fix the pieces of a jigsaw. He is frustrated and gets up. He angrily calls his mother and tells her he is going down. She kindly tells him not to scream and allows him to go to play. Antara enters and looks at the jigsaw fascinated. Vidya straightens the pillows on the sofa and finds dust on the TV. She brings a stool and starts her dusting the fan. Antara is quickly piecing the puzzle and creating Winnie the Pooh. Vidya reaches far out and slips from the stool. She screams as she falls.
Sorry I missed a minute or two here because I was avoiding the advts. But the next I saw was that neighbours were banging on the door and asking Vidya to open the door. Antara was in the hall her tiny hands clamped over her ears to keep out the shouting and the noise. Poor little thing is actually so disturbed but nobody understands. Adit returns home and sees this commotion on his doorstep. He quickly uses his key and enters. Everyone rushes in and sees Vidya on the floor in a faint and my angel is totally ignored. Adit helps Vidya up as does that awful neighbour. Vidya shakes Adit's hands off but he tells her that this is not the time to fuss and takes her inside. Now all eyes are trained on my pet who's standing in the corner with not a soul on her side. All of them poke at her and call her unfeeling etc. I can't describe the scene….it was revolting. Abhi looks at her all angry. Infact he looks like a little bull who is just about to snort.
I hope my angel is ok and I hope Vidya tells everyone tomorrow that her fall isn't Antara's fault in any way.
Precap: Adit is a little harsh with A and tells her this won't do. He rudely shakes her but madam is equally adamant and will not listen. Good for you, angel. But I hope your little heart is not broken.
