Right, wear light weight, cotton salwars, skirts, tank tops, etc. Wear stylish yet durable shoes. You never know what you may step on. Trust me. Also whenever you go for a walk or something don't wear nice nice clothes, like something you really care about. I did that once, and I noticed a bird had done it's business on my kurti.😆 Do NOT bring silk. If you want to wear heavy clothing like lehnga's and sari's, make sure they're in light colors, so you won't feel as hot. You can accessorize whatever you wear with nice jewellery like bangles and payals and such. You kind of blend in with everyone, and you feel all traditional. Invest in jewellery in India, it's cheap, and there's alot of variety. I bought a gold chain, some bangles, and a couple gold and diamond studded rings for around $100. Also, don't buy something super expensive, unless you know you will wear it. For example, I bought this really heavy lehnga like you see in serials, and I wanted to wear it for a party. I never came around wearing it, because my mom said I would die in it.
Everytime I go to India though, I always get sick. But it's really nice in India, you get to bond with your family, and watch all these awesome shows and channels such as Colors and NDTV Imagine.
Okay, enough of my chit chat, I'm gonna go watch Bidaai now.
