Do you guys agree with what farah said today about the 'blindfold' girl?

I've a single doubt about that girl which i'll explain later,but initially i'll defend the girl -

1. If farah has a doubt about that girl,can she prove that the girl is a hoax? - NO

2. Why didnt farah herself go on the stage,or ramdomly select few people from the audience and tell them to take the 'blindfold' and read as the girl did? If nobody could do that then by default the girl has a talent,rather an ability which was rightly pointed out by anu malik.

3. Foolish farah said that,the girl was not confident today. For gods sake farah she only missed one object (the keychain,for which she identified the 'black' color correctly) and u talk about confidence?
Farah,let me ask u,can u even detect one object or read a single letter with blindfold?..so even if she was a little inconfident in a way, the abilty is still miraculous. How many of us can do that?

The girl says that shes bit uncomfortable in late nights and she felt drowsy.Actually it can happen,cos the show v see for 1 hour actually takes 7-8 hours to be completed and the shoot goes upto 2 or 3 am.

Ok,farah if u say its not a talent its an ability,i agree,cos for a talent u have to practice it,nurture it,so u r right in sayin that it is not a talent but ability.But u praise that little girl in the first episode and then suddently u kind of insult her by doubting her ability is such an emotional blow for that kid,especially if shes innocent.
If u didnt want to give 5 lacs,fine but y treat her like a guilty criminal when u dont have any proof that shes bluffing.

Let me get this straight farah, if u think the girl is bluffing,then prove it in front of audience,himmat hai?..if u cant then be a sport and praise her that indeed its a miracle.....ye 'i think...i think' karke kuch nahi hota.

I think farah should stand in front of that girl,and mona should ask that girl-'Who is standing in front of u?'
The girl should answer "i cant tell precisely but im sure its a stupid woman." :)

Only one aspect of her parents,her father to be precise i found fishy.

In the first episode he was not smiling, not clapping looked rather nervous and even today.
Then,when farah was making all those allegations on her,he kept quiet!!!..that was surprising.
If she were to be my daughter and if i were totally honest about her abilty i would have taken farah left & right.Hungama macha deta,how dare they doubt my daughters ability? I would've called upon few random audience members on the stage and told them to do wat she did. Inshort,i would've challenged farah's doubt.
He was just sitting idle there lookin kinda tense. so theres something to think about.

That is wat i'm saying through my post that nothing is based merely on 'I THINK' Cases r not solved on 'I THINK'

The girl had kept cotton on her eyes and then the blindfold,from which it is quite acceptable that she could not see.

FIne,for the people who say she could see,then y didnt the production guys,judges think of bringing up some audience members and judges themselves on the stage & apply the same cotton blindfold and prove if they could see or not!..if they could not see then the girl is special,if not then put a hoax case on her.

So simple!....that farah instead of doing this was trying to put her dupatta on her eyes sitting beside anu.

Watch the episode gain, she could not read objects placed parallel to her forehead. I agree that the girl has talent, ie she has strong eyelid muscles, she can slightly open ger eyes even under the blindfold. They could have tested her with using organic glue on her eyes. I am damn sure she wont be able to see anything. She was just making fool of the judges. So I think Farah was right, and she was very polite to the girl even after understanding that. She was a cheater. She could have said the truth, eben then it was a talent.

Above all, use your common sense. How can someone see with his eyes closed. THATS IMPOSSIBLE.

Again u r talking of 'ifs & buts' like farah.

I think u didnt read my opinion properly.I'm not completely ruling out the the possiblility of that girl beign a cheat.Its like NOT GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN.That is y i said y didnt the SONY guys or judges put the same cotton and blindfold on themselves and check if they could see it?As u say even if the girl has strong eyemuscles or somethng like that then also i praise her cos then she has an ability which v dont have.

If t'was all about COMMON SENSE as u say then she shouldnt have been allowed on the stage in the 1st place.

Secondly,were the judges/SONY guys sleeping when she performed during the auditions & then the 1st episode.U needed the FINALE episode to cast ur doubts?

Please let us stop blame game and try to find out the actuality.

Can some body provide the full name, address (as permissible) of the girl so that some medical/university folks could carry out authentic research? Have any doctors examined her? What sort of and why eye-glasses does she need for ordinary vision?

Considering just the optics and physics of it: it is impossible unless light rays from an object reach her brain, she could not cognize an object. Having said that, I must also say that by implanting electrodes scientists in Germany were able to make a 50 yr old blind lady navigate through a room with obstacles. The electrodes activated that part of the brain responsible for vision though it was not receiving the stimulus directly from the light of the object through the eyes. That means even though the eye is not working, the inner parts of the brain are functioning. Drawing from this, can we say that her brain has been able to somehow receive the object em signal through her skull?

And there is our Vedantic approach in object recognition. Vedanta Paribhasha says that all objects are 'unreal' and it is our "Consciousness" that actually illuminates the object and the stored impressions in the mind give a name and form to the object. Is the girl proving the Vedantic approach?

First we should know that the girl and the demo was absolutely honest and genuine.

Then we should know whether the girl has 'remote viewing' ability. Can she say what is in my pocket with open eyes? Can she see across walls? What is on a road in New York?

Will Sony people clarify and provide some info please?

I am not talking in 'ifs & buts' at all...........I am 200% sure she could not see with blindfold. There is no confusion.

I agree with you, its simply not possible to see with eyes closed. At least thats what science says.

We should understand one thing, this a show for entertainment, this is not a news channel or a science channel. The girl cheated us for money & fame and Sony Channel cheated us for TRP. At the end of it all we are fighting like fools. In all reality shows this type of things happen which are not that real.

And rambo55 dont be annoyed with Farah's behaviour, she has said what the director has told her to say. So chill......and be entertained, but dont ask questions!!!😆

Very true,thats a very legible scientific approach to it.

But of course the SONY guys r not fools,they must have known from the very start that there mgiht be some trouble on this issue,so if they continue with her act without sensing any "doubts" or if they give her 5lac rs.,it might have created a controversy for the channel later on.

Sometimes,believe it or not such acts r planted by the channel itself & then there is no followup done on that.

For e.g on the news channel IBN,there was a story about a village school boy who had started speaking in a weird 'american accent' and was said to be the re-incarnation of an american scientist.The story was flashed for 2 days,he was bought into the IBN studio,but after that,there is no followup on that story till date.

Wonder if media itself plants all this by itself for the TRP's.

Create a story & then abruptly kill it.
